Our very own Jacob Treasure has recently passed his final exams to become a Chartered Financial Planner at just 27 years of age.
The Chartered qualification is considered the ‘gold standard’ for professional financial planners and advisers in the UK.
By definition, holders of the Chartered Financial Planner qualification are among the most experienced and qualified advisers available.
It is a tremendous achievement for Jacob, who grew up in Kelsall. He joined Illingworth Seddon over 7 years ago and has worked his way up through every department at the company. His employment started after a chance meeting with company owner and Director, Jonathan Seddon, while working at a Tailors in Manchester during his finance degree.
Jonathan said ‘Who would have thought after meeting Jacob all those years ago in Manchester, that he would now be a Chartered Financial Planner and an integral part of our business.
His journey from joining us for work experience, through the admin team and now into the highest standard of financial planning is one that he should be very proud of.
It is a fantastic achievement for Jacob, and we are thrilled to have such a dedicated young man on board to be part of this company’s future.’
