Well, we’re thrilled to say… they did it!

As the dust has now settled and the legs have recovered (mostly), we thought we had best bring you news of Phil and Jacob’s completed Coast to Coast Charity bike ride.

Almost 300km cycled in 3 days with an overall incline of 4000 metres, I think we can all agree that the guys deserve a tremendous pat on the back. They cycled from Walney Island on the west coast of the UK in Cumbria, over the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors in order to reach the East coast and their final destination of Whitby.

It was a superb effort completed by over 50 members of the St James’s Place partnership which has raised well over £100,000 in total for the St James’s Place Foundation. The main focus of the Foundation is on helping children and young people who have special needs or are disadvantaged, both in the UK and overseas. The Charitable Foundation also supports the hospice movement, charities in aid of cancer and, more recently, those helping people of all ages with mental health issues.

We couldn’t be more proud of the guys for what is a brilliant achievement, and there is still time to make a last minute donation via the link below should you wish to support the Charity. We thank all those who donated for their generosity over the last week or so, your messages of support as well as the donations kept the guys going in some difficult patches, and they are extremely grateful.
