Charity Lunch at the Old Palace

We were delighted to be welcomed back as a sponsor of the Countess of Chester ‘Lunch in the City’ at the beautiful Old Palace, Chester a couple of weeks ago in support of the Blue Skies Balcony appeal.

We were lucky to be involved in 2021 and it was a very easy decision to support once again this year. What better way to spend time with guests than at a brilliant venue raising money for such a worthwhile cause in The Blue Skies Balcony Appeal”

The event raised funds for the Blue Skies Balcony appeal which is an appeal to build a balcony onto the Intensive Care Unit at The Countess of Chester Hospital. Once built the balcony will allow patients on the Intensive Care Unit to have access to fresh air in a safe and infection control supported area whilst overlooking the Welsh hills.

Guests were welcomed to the impressive surroundings of Old Palace Chester for a unique lunch experience. After lunch guests heard an inspiring speech from viral sensation Jackie Weaver who discussed her life after the infamous Zoom meeting last year.

The event raised a superb £4,315.25 for the Blue Skies Balcony appeal with thanks to match funding support provided by Lloyds Banking Group.
